Israel's security fence is at the center of an international storm. This seminar looks at the reasons behind Israel's building of the fence and the problems involved. If you want to understand what is really happening between Israel and the Palestinians this tour is vital for you to experience.

The tour begins in the Gilo, an area that became central to the conflict between Israelis and Palestinian in the second Intifada

We then visit Checkpoint 300, an entrance and exit point to many Palestinians daily and discuss the issue of Israel's security dilemmas

We then travel through the West Bank, down the tunnel road in the direction of the Gush Etzion Bloc (optional visit to Efrat).

We pass the latest construction of the Israel's security fence and discuss the implications for the Palestinian villiage of Hassan.

We pass Betar, a settlement of 40,000 orthodox Jews and pass back over the Green line to Tsur Hadassah, a border line town.
